S.J. has 14 years of experience in writing, editing, research, and project management. From 1999-2003, she honed her skills as a research assistant at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, as a proposal writer at Vanderweil Facility Advisors, and as an administrative coordinator. From 2003-2007, S.J. worked as a research coordinator at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Tufts Medical Center. This role included study recruitment, focus groups, study management, standardized assessments, IRB regulations, data collection, editing of manuscripts and presentations. Research projects focused on long-term quality of life issues with pediatric patients. Most recently S.J. was a writing tutor at Mt. Ida College. She has a Master’s in Mass Communication from Boston University College of Communication. She has a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Rochester.
