S.R. is an award-winning, marketing communication expert with 20 years of experience developing and executing initiatives for B2C, B2G, and non-profit/association clients. She is currently an independent consultant and trainer, advising C-suite leadership on the development, implementation, and management of “surround-sound” communication strategies and innovation design thinking to support corporate growth priorities. In her last two Vice President roles at global consulting firms, S.R. designed and executed metrics-driven marketing communication initiatives targeting internal and external audiences. She leverages design thinking, omni-channel and digital/social media tactics, and performance analytics to increase ROI. In her last position, S.R. developed an Innovation Lab encouraging cross-functional collaboration that enhanced corporate positioning. She also led a cross-company team that enhanced internal communication and global staff engagement. S.R. earned a Doctor of Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, and a certification in Design Thinking from UVA. She is PMP-certified.
