S.S. has 20+ years of experience serving a variety of non-profit organizations through membership programs, planning events, community outreach and working directly with constituents. Currently, S.S. is an executive function coach for a small firm working with college students with executive function disorder, helping them achieve academic goals and learn organizational skills. From 2015-2018, she served as an independent contractor, tutoring elementary-age students in reading and writing as well as directly supporting clients with disabilities needing guidance through the job search process. At JSSA, from 2011-2014, S.S. designed and delivered a recurring, 8-week course for people with disabilities focused on various parts of the job search, including resumes, cover and thank you letters, elevator speeches, informational and job interviews. Prior to this, she worked as a meeting planner for an international association. Lastly, she served as membership and outreach director for a historical society and museum, where she developed membership packages, planned events and led educational programs. She has a Masters from American University.
