S.S. has 10+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience for both small and large companies. Most recently, she was a Staff Accountant at a non-profit industry accreditation agency where she was responsible for accounts payable and receivable, various reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. From 2010-2014, she founded a specialty dessert catering company, where she oversaw all financial and operational matters. Prior to owning her own business, she worked as a Staff Accountant at Presbyterian Homes and Services from 2002-2003. She led a team in analyzing the financial implications of closing distressed facilities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and other general accounting processes were in place. From 1999-2002, she was a Staff Accountant at a small public accounting firm where she worked with small business clients. She began her career as a Financial Analyst at Prudential Healthcare where she assisted in the pricing of managed care products through analysis of financial, competitor, and historical data. She is proficient in Peachtree, QuickBooks, and MS Excel. S.S. holds a BS in Accounting from Rutgers University.
