S.V. has 15+ years of experience as an Event and Meeting Planner, organizing meetings of various scope and size, both nationally and internationally. From 2001-2012, she was Assistant Manager of Meetings at the American Industrial Hygiene Association. She managed site selection, contracts, registration, transportation, travel, audiovisual, signage, shipping, food and beverage, on-site customer support, and event collateral. She has planned events from intimate Board meetings to conventions attended by 5,000 people. Prior to this, she was Director of Conferences and Education at The Gerontological Society of America. Since 2012, S.V. has provided administrative and operations support for a company that provides language and culture training to business and government clients. She is proficient in MS Office Suite and software and mobile apps to manage events. She has a Bachelors from The George Washington University and is a former Certified Meeting Planner (CMP).
