S.W. is a human resource generalist and office administration professional with 15+ years of experience in start-up and professional service environments. In addition to HR, her roles have included executive support, general administration, and facilities management. From 2006-2007, S.W. was Senior Human Resource Specialist at Insperity (outsourced HR provider), where she supported a portfolio of companies in the area of employee relations. From 2001-2005, she worked for BNX, a technology start-up, as its sole Manager of HR & Administration. She provided generalist HR support to 100-200 employees, including recruiting and onboarding 60 hires over 4 years in addition to overseeing terminations due to downsizing. She stayed with the company through early growth, multiple funding rounds, changes in leadership during maturation, and ultimately merger and acquisition. From 1999-2001, S.W. was Manager of Employee Benefits and member of a 2-person HR team at start-up Ultraprise. She earned her SPHR certification in 2004. She has a BS from the University of Maryland.
