Female-founded and sustainably focused gifting company seeks a Marketing and Production Specialist. They offer ready-to-ship gifts for life's milestone moments as well as a custom gifting concierge service for events & client appreciation. 

Hours/Schedule: 5-10 hours a week, with possibility to ramp up. Schedule is somewhat flexible, but ideally around 9am – 2:30pm, could be 2 or 3 days/week.

Job Type: Long-term Contract  

Location Requirements: On-site at Waltham Headquarters 

Rate: $25/hr 

Job Description: The Marketing and Production Specialist will be an integral member of the team. Working to develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to effectively promote the brand and engage with the target audience across various channels. They will additionally support the production process of gift baskets from design conception to assembly.


  • Creating and executing an overall social media plan for each platform
  • Engagement with targeted market + responses on social
  • Content creation and copy for all platforms; write copy that meets marketing strategy and achieves campaign goals
  • Find and manage additional platforms beneficial to client & overall goal
  • Provide tactical input on message creation and delivery
  • Produce a newsletter and promotional materials
  • Develop and disseminate media content through print, social media, website, email blasts, etc.
  • Assist in the production of gift baskets, including designing, assembling, and packaging, to meet customer orders and ensure timely deliver
  • Assemble gift baskets according to established guidelines and standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail in product arrangement, packaging, and presentation
  • Collaborate with the production team to brainstorm and develop creative gift basket designs that align with customer preferences, themes, and occasions


  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, English, marketing or related field
  • 3+ years of work experience related to Marketing; ideally with a focus in retail or customer service-related field
  • Superior writer with an eye for detail and flair for language
  • Ability to write for a variety of mediums
  • Creative flair and an eye for design, with the ability to create visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing gift arrangements
  • Well-versed in latest social, mobile and local networks such as Linked-in, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
  • Preferred experience in the following systems: Monday, Shopify, CRM systems (Dubsado), flodesk, and Social Media schedulers
