Job Description: Looking for a 
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to join the team . Must be fluent in up-to-the-second best practices in SEO strategy, implementation, and analytics. The SEO Specialist will perform website audits, develop keyword-rich content and narratives, and create strong back linking strategies to drive astonishing results.

 
Responsibilities:  

  • Perform in-depth keyword research

  • Study traffic and analytics

  • Stay up to date on all SEO strategies, Google Algorithm updates, and SEO best practices

  • Review and analyze client websites for areas of improvement and optimization

  • Analyze our clients’ competitors

  • Develop and implement link building strategies

  • Maximize local search exposure

  • Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming

  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code

  • Write effective SEO content for websites, blogs, social media accounts, and local SEO pages

  • Develop strong calls-to-action 

  • Develop effective ranking strategies and prepare detailed strategy reports

  • Two or more years of professional search engine optimization work experience with exposure to how marketing campaigns impact natural search visibility

  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods

  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, SEMrush or equivalent platform, local citation platforms, and link-building tools

  • Experience with content management systems

  • Understands the difference between Schema, microdata, and structured data

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, information technology, business or a related field

 

Qualifications:  

  • Looking for a minimum of two or more years of professional search engine optimization work experience with exposure to how marketing campaigns impact natural search visibility

  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods

  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, SEMrush or equivalent platform, local citation platforms, and link-building tools

  • Experience with content management systems

  • Understands the difference between Schema, microdata, and structured data
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, information technology, business or a related field
  • Analytical with a marketing background
  • Out-of-the-box thinker
