Federal Government contractor seeking an Accounting Consultant with Procas and Paylocity experience to virtually train employee for 3-4 months
Hours/Schedule: 20-30 hours/week
Job Type: Contract
Location Requirements: Remote with willingness to travel for 1-4 east coast in-person meetings, if necessary.
Rate: $60-70/hour
Job Description: Accounting consultant will train current staff member to use Procas for all bookkeeping (A/P, A/R, journal entries, time keeping, bank reconciliation, end of month) plus 50 employee multi-state payroll using Paylocity.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Experience working for a Government Contractor / experience with Government Contracting required
- Proficiency with Procas Software
- Experience with Paylocity or other comparable payroll software
- Highest attention to detail
- Strong training and communication skills
- Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and professionalism
