Small, woman-owned government contractor seeks a part-time Administrative/Bookkeeping assistant to work in Alexandria (Kingstowne), VA office
Hours/Schedule: 24-30 hrs/week, flexible schedule
Job Type: Contract to perm, this is a permanent part-time opportunity

Rate: $30/hour
Job Description: Responsibilities will include basic bookkeeping and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, exercise good judgement, have strong and professional communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Enter CC charges & bills in QuickBooks
- File monthly bills & client invoices
- Assist with the management of timekeeping system
- Prepare monthly excel invoices
- Assist with onboarding new hires
- Maintain employee personnel files
- Maintain property inventory log

Assist on client projects to provide meeting/workshop/webinar logistics including hotel, speaker, and travel arrangements (some travel may be required)

- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Reliable, self-motivated, independent, adaptable and versatile with an enthusiastic collaborative spirit
- QuickBooks experience a plus
