Home Healthcare company in Fairfax, VA seeking a part-time Sales/Community Liaison to develop and build relationships in Fairfax and surrounding counties.

Hours/Schedule:  20 hours/week, flexible schedule but M-F 10am-2pm preferred. Must have availability to respond and meet with clients when requested.

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Location Requirements: Hybrid, 2x/week in Fairfax office    

Pay Rate: $32/hour

Job Description: This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, results driven and able to develop and build strong, lasting relationships. You will become the home healthcare expert and transitional care specialist in our community. 


  • Provide information and education to professionals, facilities, organizations, and consumers regarding services offered
  • Establish a referral base in Fairfax County and surrounding counties, to include and maintain relationships with discharge planners, case managers, social workers, physicians, and other health care professionals who utilize home care services by regularly scheduling and conducting visits to those referral sources
  • Understand and uphold current agency/market trends, coverage criteria, and industry changes to ensure compliance with required regulations.
  • Utilize CRM/database to organize and manage relationships, referrals sources and marketing activity
  • Build trust, value others, communicate effectively with office and clients, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity
  • Represent the agency at various community events
    Perform other functions, as deemed appropriate, by the management team


  • Associate degree and or bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years related work experience in sales
  • Experience with home care, home heath, and/or hospice a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Sensitivity to working with patients, families, and the community
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be outgoing, people person and energetic
  • Excellent public relations skills with ability to market effectively with customers and referral sources
  • Excellent planning, organization and presentation skills are critical
  • Willing to travel in the N.VA area (mileage reimbursed) and work with a wide array of healthcare professionals
