Medical equipment company in Vienna, VA seeking a FT Business Development Associate with experience in durable medical equipment sales.
Hours/Schedule: FT Flex, 35-40 hours/week
Job Type: Contract to Hire, starting as an hourly employee on Flexprofessionals' payroll, successful candidate will be converted to client's payroll
Location Requirement: Mostly remote with occasional meetings in Vienna office
Rate: $40/hour
Job Description: We are seeking a business development associate who will support our expansion efforts in the US Market from our established business in India.
Responsibilities:
- Must be passionate about spending most of their time on having face-to-face meetings with the customers
- Identify / prioritize potential clients based on market knowledge / response to marketing outreach
- Reach out to clients and schedule meetings
- Attend industry events, meetings and conferences
- Follow up leads from events and conferences
- Develop relationships with potential clients
- Attend business meetings
- Create proposals as per client discussions
- Follow up proposals and provide clarifications as needed
- Assist in creating pitch deck, marketing plan, presentations, proposals etc
- Assist in contracting process with client
- Ensure timely payments for products / services through follow up as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma – graduate degree preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience in durable medical equipment sales required
- Excellent written and spoken communications
- Fluency in MS-Office suite
- Open only to US Citizens, Green Card Holders and those with valid authorizations to work in US
- Willing to work as hourly 1099 strongly preferred
