A.P. is a marketing and digital analytics professional with 20+ years of experience leading projects and programs for federal, contractor, and non-profit organizations.  When more than 50% of a federal website’s users were accessing the non-mobile friendly site with cellphones, A.P. led the redesign and migration to a Drupal 8 platform that offers great experiences for users on computers, tablets, and mobile devices. A.P. also conceived of, obtained funding for, and directed a training and technical assistance project designed to increase staff use of web analytics to improve the organization’s 1,700 public websites.  A.P. developed a comprehensive communications plan to promote a new website to 200K email subscribers and collect feedback. Prior to this, she served as Assistant Director of George Mason University’s Center for Social Entrepreneurship.  Y.R. has an MBA from George Mason University.

S.B. is a project coordination and operations support professional with 20 years of experience in both product and service industries. She most recently worked for a DC-based federal government organization where she researched, developed, and implemented sound, effective policies. From 2006-2012, S.B. worked as a Project Manager for Interbrand. She provided administrative support and managed client budgets, timelines and deliverables. She later became the Database Manager in support of the organization’s global sales and marketing goals. In this role, she developed, implemented and documented processes to ensure data integrity. Prior to that, S.B. worked as an administrator for the marketing department at Olympus America, supporting a full range of marketing functions and leading special projects in web content development and resource management. S.B. is proficient in a variety of software applications and has a Bachelors in Business Administration from Dowling College.

N.M. has 15+ years of product marketing and management experience with small and large companies, including Cisco Systems and Deltek.  She has experience across a broad range of industries, including IT, telecommunications, data analytics, construction management, and energy/sustainability.  She is currently an independent consultant providing product management and marketing services to software companies. Earlier in her career at Cisco Systems, Nikki was a Sales Engineer, where she has awarded SE of the Year for consecutive years in a row.  Then she moved into a product management/marketing position, focusing on requirements gathering, business case development, and product launch. Within a year at Deltek, she was promoted from Product Marketing Manager to Director of Product Marketing. She has built and marketed SaaS and Mobile applications resulting in multi-million dollar revenues. She has a Masters in Global Sustainability from Virginia Tech and Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland, College Park.  She is proficient in Windows and Mac applications.

M.M. has recent experience as a Data Analyst, which is bolstered by 10+ years of software engineering experience in fast-paced software development and live application environments.  She is currently working at a national nonprofit benefit services financial group using her data analysis skills. Prior to taking a career break, she worked as a Business Analyst and Software Engineer from 1996-2001. She worked on a variety of development applications for Sprint, Citigroup, and Titan Systems Corporation. In these roles, she interacted with customers and IT teams to derive functional requirements for design and development of user interfaces. She is currently taking a Python programming class (data analytics track). She has a BS in Electrical Engineering from NYU Tandom School of Engineering.

N.P. is a CFO-level finance and operations professional with deep experience working for small and large federal government contractors, including Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, and CACI. In addition, he is a U.S. military veteran with a distinguished military career and multiple combat deployments. He is currently an SVP of Finance & Operations for a DE-based government contracting firm. One of N.P.’s successes was developing an automated reporting system that tracked contract, financial, and program performance metrics for 20 subcontractors. He has also implemented program controls and corporate guidelines to ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, and DFAR. In addition to managing the finance function, he has held other operational responsibilities as well, including program management, business development, sales, contracts management, proposal support, acquisition, and integration. He has managed the enterprise IT implementation and performance across multiple federal program offices with over 200 FTEs. S.P. is an award-winning technical writer and editor with 12+ years of experience managing documentation projects to meet an organization’s compliance, training, or customer service goals. Her diverse experience includes positions in government, technology, and higher education. Currently, S.P. creates and edits sensitive internal documents, updates web content, and manages electronic records for a higher education provider. Between 2003 and 2015, S.P. worked six years at U.S. embassies in Guatemala and Cuba. In various roles, she planned and executed complex writing projects, including reports for Congress and the executive branch and social media outreach. From 2000-2003, as an independent contractor, S.P. created online help systems and interactive, web-based training modules for technology and wireless industry clients. From 1997-2000, S.P. worked as a technical writer and web content manager for software and eLearning companies in the Seattle area, documenting nearly every phase of the software and web development life cycles. Throughout her career she has leveraged her sales, marketing, and communications skills to drive revenue growth and improve client engagement and retention. Her experience includes sales, training, account management, communications, and marketing strategy. Her most recent consulting engagement involved development and execution of a marketing plan that included web content development, digital marketing, and trade show management that resulted in new business as well as increased brand awareness. She specializes in developing strategic marketing and customer support solutions that deliver results. She has a BS in Marketing from University of Maryland, College Park, MD.

K.M. is a C-suite level corporate communications and media relations professional. He specializes in serving as a corporate spokesperson, media training, issues management, corporate crisis management, speech writing, senior executive employee and public communications (i.e., op-eds, official statements, executive “for signature” writing needs and more), government relations communications, and management/board communications. Since 2006, he has been an independent communications consultant directing media relations and marketing for association, nonprofit, law firm, and small business clients. From 2001-2006, he served as Director of Corporate Communications & Senior Writer at The United Illuminating Company. Prior to this, he was Manager of Public Relations, Media & Employee Communications for Verizon Wireless, NYC Metro Region and held several communications management roles at Southern New England Telecommunications (now AT&T). K.M. is professionally media trained and holds a BA from Georgetown University.

M.C. is a finance and accounting professional with 30+ years of experience working for large IT companies and, more recently, small businesses.  Since 2012, he has worked for a family-owned HVAC company where he is responsible for revenue reporting; analyzing and generating commissions, bonuses, and incentives; and managing vendor relations including accounts payable and incentive rebates. From 2010-2012 he served as Operations Manager at Symantec. From 2000-2010 he was a Financial Analyst and Operations Manager with Sun Microsystems and Oracle. He began his career at UNISYS where he was responsible for billing and accounts receivables and was promoted to Assets Manager. MC has a BA in Business Administration from Averett University.
